Restrict Admin Access

This built in security tool helps protect a website from brute force attacks by restricting access to the wp-admin page by IP.

This tool can be enabled/disabled on a hosting package level.

WARNING

This functionality is only available if you are running Apache web servers.

Restrict access by IP

To restrict the WordPress login access:

1. Open Websites in the left sidebar
2. Locate the website you would like to change the auto-update schedule for and click Manage
3. When the website dashboard loads select Apps
4. Select Manage on the application you would like to change the auto-update schedule for
5. Scroll to General
6. Toggle Restrict admin access on
7. When the IP address field appears, enter your IP and select Add
